Christopher Boyer is a PhD student at the Harvard School of Public Health. Prior to starting his PhD, he worked at IPA and was responsible for global technical support for statistics, programming, and mobile data collection and supported IPA's internal research agenda. He is passionate about leveraging data to improve development, reduce inequality, and advocate for greater social justice. Prior to joining IPA, Christopher worked as a data analyst for Dr. James Phillips with the Program on Advancing Comprehensive Research in Health Systems at Columbia University and served as Peace Corps Volunteer in Mozambique. Christopher holds a Master’s Degree in Public Health from Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health and is an alumnus of the school's Program on Forced Migration and Health.
