On October 26, IPA Peru participated in an event titled "Semana de la Evidencia," presenting on "How to Design an Impact Evaluation" in Lima. Sergio De Marco — Deputy Country Director for IPA's Peru, Bolivia, and Paraguay country programs — presented on the fundamental problem of causal inference and the importance of finding a valid counterfactual. Afterward, Sergio discussed the use of experimental evaluation methods and the different types and designs of randomization.
