Thomas Chupein leads the Right-Fit Evidence Unit, IPA’s advisory department aimed at supporting NGOs, social businesses, governments, and funders in building right-fit Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning systems. Prior to joining IPA, he served as a Senior Evidence Specialist at the LEGO Foundation, overseeing a portfolio of education research and policy partnerships in the development and humanitarian sectors. He has also worked as a Senior Policy Manager at the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL) at MIT where he managed the global health sector, and at the Center for Effective Global Action at UC Berkeley. Thomas holds an MPA in International Development from Harvard University and a BA in Development Studies from UC Berkeley.
