Oeindrila Dube is an Assistant Professor of Politics and Economics at New York University, and a research affiliate of BREAD and CEPR.

Her research focuses on understanding the causes and consequences of conflict in developing countries.  She has analyzed how economic factors such as commodity prices and foreign aid shape political violence, and studied how truth and reconciliation processes influence post-conflict recovery.

She holds a BA in Public Policy from Stanford University, an MPhil in Economics from Oxford University and a PhD in public policy from Harvard University. She was also a 2002 Rhodes Scholar.
