Alia is a Senior Policy Associate contributing to developing a greater dual-generation perspective in policy, programming, and research in Uganda and internationally. She has over seven years of experience working with NGOs, INGOs, and UN agencies in the humanitarian and development space. Before joining IPA, Alia was the Information Management and Performance Reporting Officer for the World Food Programme in Sudan. Alia has a Bachelor's (Honors) in Business Administration, an MBA in Project Management, and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). Alia is also a Rotary Peace Fellow; she studied Peacebuilding and Conflict Transformation at Makerere University, Uganda.
