This page lists research projects that are being developed by IPA and others. Our goal is to document active studies taking place on COVID-19’s socio-economic impacts—and results, as they come in—in order to inform researchers and decision-makers working to mitigate the crisis. As this is a public good, the hub contains both IPA and non-IPA studies. Inclusion criteria for the hub can be found here, and new projects and questionnaires can be submitted here.

The COVID-19 India Survey

India has had one of the most stringent lock-downs in response to the COVID-19 crisis. While the severity of the move will help in controlling the spread of the virus, it is bound to have severe economic repercussions over the long run.So, it is necessary to assess the impact of the coronavirus and measures taken to control its spread on citizens and businesses alike. This would help in informing the actions that need to be taken once the virus is contained and also for all future pandemics. The survey aims to quantify these assessments across different sections of society.
