Juan Felipe provides strategic leadership to the office's research, MEL, and policy initiatives with the objective of increasing evidence-based decision-making amongst key players of Colombia's social impact ecosystem. Concurrently, he oversees the office's compliance, finances, and risk management. He previously steered projects on social protection, mental health, and early childhood, plus office innovation strategies. Before IPA, he advanced evidence-based practices at the Colombian Institute for Family Welfare (ICBF) and assessed country and sector programs at the IDB. He holds an MPA from Columbia University and an MA in Economics from Universidad de los Andes, with additional undergraduate degrees in Political Science and Economics.
