Educational outcomes remain low in many countries despite a substantial expansion in access to schooling over the last two decades. IPA has measured the impact of many strategies aimed at improving educational quality, such as evaluating the impact of textbook provision, reducing class size, teaching at the level of the child, remedial lessons taught by community teaching assistants, and other interventions. IPA is also participating in the scale up of effective solutions to improve education quality.
