Research Associate

Varsha works as a Research Associate on the Engaging Women in Mobile Money Markets project, a cross-randomized evaluation that aims to increase the supply and demand of mobile financial services, especially for women, in Bangladesh. Prior to joining IPA, she consulted with a Delhi-based public policy think tank studying trends in trade in South Asia. Varsha holds an MPP from the Harris School of Public Policy, University of Chicago and a BA in Economics from the University of Delhi. As part of her graduate summer internship, she volunteered with IPA Ghana in 2018 on a Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) intervention.
