Research Analyst

Sofía Granados works as a Research Analyst and currently participates in a migration project with the Venezuelan population in Colombia and in the pro bono consultancy initiative ConsultIPA. She holds a BA in Economics, a BA in Political Science, and a minor in Development Studies from Los Andes University. Prior to assuming her position at IPA, she worked as Research Assistant in a conjoint project between Los Andes University and the University of Chicago related to the political economy of paramilitary violence in Colombia. She also has experience with projects related to land restitution and agrarian reforms in Colombia, State capacity, intergenerational mobility, and gender dynamics in rural contexts.
