Sharada Ramanathan serves as Knowledge Manager, Poverty Probability Index (PPI®) at Innovations for Poverty Action. In this role, she provides technical support and advice to organisations implementing the PPI. She also manages the development of the PPI - including stakeholder engagement, testing, and delivery. Additionally, she supports communication and training initiatives for the PPI. She previously served as Senior Lead, Programs at Grameen Foundation where she oversaw pan-Asia strategic initiatives including developing an earned revenue strategy for the region, identifying opportunities for interventions in new markets, and managing marketing and communication for Grameen Foundation’s India-based subsidiary. She previously worked at Citibank N.A and Kotak Life Insurance in India. She holds a Bachelors degree in Engineering, and a MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta.
