Saraf serves as Research Analyst for IPA Bangladesh, specializing in designing research and managing large scale programs. She is currently working on an RCT studying the combination of autonomy and non-financial incentives, for increasing the adoption of effective and innovative education policies among mid-level bureaucrats. She works closely with government bureaucrats in designing and implementing the RCT. Saraf shifted from an Urban Planning background to Econometric Science due to a desire to link these two majors and use RCTs to help spark policy-dialogue. Before joining IPA, she worked with UNDP and Geographic Information Services Inc. Saraf is highly trained in community participatory techniques and human behavioral psychology.
