Ricardo is the Research Manager of the Financial Inclusion Tracker Survey (FITS) project, running in Tanzania, Uganda, and Pakistan. Previously, he worked at the Ministry of Economy and Finance of Peru as a Research and Evaluation Specialist coordinating impact assessments of social protection, housing, agriculture and education programs. Before that, he was Senior Research Associate at BRAC, where he managed an RCT to measure the effects of BRAC’s microfinance and agriculture, poultry, and livestock programs in Uganda. Also, he has conducted research studies for the Red Cross, InterMedia and IESE Business School.
Ricardo holds an MA in Development Studies from the Institute of Development Studies (IDS) at the University of Sussex (UK) and a BA in Sociology from the University of Granada (Spain).
