Rayssa Ruiz works as a Research Analyst. She is currently working on a project that tries to mitigate the adverse effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on early childhood distance education. The project is being implemented in Costa Rica, Colombia, Peru, and El Salvador, in cooperation with the (Inter-American Development Bank) IDB and the countries' Ministries of Education of Costa Rica, Perú, El Salvador, and the “Instituto Colombiano de Bienestar Familiar” (ICBF). Previously, she worked as an intern at the IPA, in a research study related to teaching coding and computational thinking in Paraguay. Rayssa joined IPA in October 2019, and she holds a degree in Economics from the Universidad de Piura.
