Maurice Banda provides an oversight role of Tax Decentralisation Project (TAD), an impact evaluation project which is a portion of the Local Government Accountability and Performance (LGAP) activity, implemented by IPA in partnership with the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development (MLGRD), USAID, and Development Alternatives Incorporated (DAI). Prior to his role as a Research Associate at IPA, Maurice was working with Malawi Confederation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (MCCCI) where he spent 3 years as a Research Associate. Maurice has a BA in Social Sciences majoring in Economics from Catholic University of Malawi.
