Laura Burke manages the development of content for IPA's print and online publications, including policy briefs, web summaries, articles, and impact case studies. She also oversees a special project with ideas42 to create a public platform for evidence-based behavioral and policy innovations. Before joining IPA, Laura was a freelance journalist in West Africa, where she reported for the Associated Press, Global Post, RFI, Voice of America, France24 and other news outlets. Before that, she was a contributing writer for The Texas Observer. From 2006-2008, she was a Peace Corps volunteer in Rumphi, Malawi, where she taught at a rural secondary school.
