Kobby Amponsah is a Senior Research Associate at IPA Zambia. He is currently working on multiple projects in the agricultural, energy and environmental sectors. This includes engaging private sector partners and leading a scale up of the Food Constraints study to measure the impacts of lean season financing on agricultural productivity, labour markets and profitability for agribusinesses. He has previously worked on evaluation projects focused on SMEs and small-holder farmers in Zambia, Swaziland and Liberia with the International Labour Organization and the University of Connecticut. He holds an MSc in Agricultural and Resource Economics from the University of Connecticut.
