Julie Peters leads the grants department at IPA, working with researchers and project teams to ensure compliance, reporting and deliverables for all of IPA's grants around the world. Prior to joining IPA, she worked for four years at TechnoServe, leading the design and implementation of a global knowledge management initiative. Previous to that, Julie spent nearly 15 years in Nicaragua, the last five of those as Country Director for TechnoServe's largest operation in Latin America, focused on agriculture and entrepreneurship, and managing a team of 130 and an annual budget of $3.5 million. Julie has a BA in International Relations from Bucknell University and has completed coursework towards her MBA at the University of Connecticut.
