Juan Francisco Santini is a post-doctoral research fellow at Innovations for Poverty Action. He received his Ph.D. in Economics from PUC-Rio, Brazil. He earned an M.A. in Economics at the University of Houston, an M.A. in Economics at Universidad del CEMA, Argentina, and a B.A. in Economics at Universidad Nacional de La Plata, Argentina. Before joining IPA, Juan worked as a consultant for the World Bank and the Inter-American Development Bank in different impact evaluations in Argentina and Brazil and was an associate visiting scholar of the Department of Economics at Harvard University. His research interests lie in development economics, specifically the fields of organizational, political and public economics.
