John Tengatenga is a Research Associate for IPA Malawi. He has vast experience in managing surveys and development evaluations in Malawi. Before joining IPA, John worked for another research institution where he oversaw research projects in local governance performance, elections, youth empowerment and development, corruption, and public perception about COVID-19. He has also collaborated with other researchers and produced scholarly articles published in the European Journal of Development, African Review, and Journal of Public Administration (JOPA). John holds a Master of Arts in International Relations from Miami University and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Michigan State University.
