Gieltje Adriaans works closely with academic researchers and field staff on research work related to youth development and women empowerment in Sierra Leone. She previously worked as a Research Associate in the IPA Peru office and as a consultant for the World Bank Gender Innovation Lab in Uganda. Gieltje holds an MSc in International Trade, Finance and Development from the Barcelona Graduate School of Economics.
