Research Manager

Gerald Ipapa currently manages two projects at IPA Kenya: Girls Empowered by Microfranchising, and Tax Compliance projects, both in Nairobi. Gerald joined IPA in 2009 as a field officer. Rising through the ranks, he worked as a Data Analyst in 2010, closely with academic researchers in cleaning, analyzing data and survey programming. He became a Research Associate in 2012, where he managed 3 projects; The Kenya Life Panel Survey, Dispenser Choice Evaluation and Girls Empowered by Microfranchising in Nairobi. He holds a BSc in Mathematics and Statistics from Egerton University
