David A. Barraza Salguero works as a Senior Research Associate at IPA Peru. He is currently working in an educational intervention seeking to impact students election about their higher education decisions through disclosure information policies in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Labor and Promotion of Employment of Peru. He previously worked at IPA Peru and JPAL-LAC based in the Dominican Republic as a Research Associate on projects like "Decidiendo para un Futuro Mejor" and "Aprendiendo el Valor de la Educación" respectively with the Princeton University professor, Christopher Neilson. He has also worked for the Bureau of Strategic Planning and Budget of the Ministry of Education in the Data Analysis team promoting strategies to improve the regular basic education (EBR) services in rural areas of Peru. David Abel holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences majoring in Economics from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú.
