Camelia works as a Research Associate in the Liberia office on the GiveDirectly unconditional cash transfer and agricultural market access intervention project. Before joining IPA, she has worked for GIZ in Ethiopia and for the Council of International Schools in The Netherlands, and has led several volunteer projects in her native Moldova. Camelia has a BSc in Liberal Arts and Sciences (International Development major) from Leiden University, the MITx MicroMasters in Data, Economics, and Development Policy and is pursuing an MSc in International Development and Management at Lund University. She speaks Romanian, French, and Russian.
