Bruce oversees IPA's Global Programs Team, IPA's Africa Country Offices, and serves on the organization's Senior Management Team. He previously worked for the International Rescue Committee (IRC) as the Deputy Regional Director of Programs for the Asia, Caucasus and Middle East Regional Unit. He previously served as IRC’s Country Director for Somalia, Deputy Country Representative and Deputy Director for the Southern Sudan program, as well as holding various coordination and program management positions in Burundi, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Eritrea. Prior to joining the IRC, Bruce worked as a water engineer in Malawi. Bruce received his Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree from McMaster University (Canada) and an MSc in Project Management in Developing Countries from the University of Manchester, Institute for Development Policy and Management (UK).
