Béchir currently works on the GMM2 project in Côte d’Ivoire. Previously, he worked on a range of projects in Burkina Faso, such as a safety nets project examining the impact of a cash transfers program combined with home visits focused on health, nutrition, and early child development. He has also worked on a project aimed at understanding the acceptability of the Proxy Mean Test (PMT) in targeting poor households and another project evaluating a mass media family planning campaign on the uptake of modern contraceptive methods. He was also Field Coordinator for the forest investment program examining the impact of payments for environmental services in plant survival and household’s income with CEMES-AFRIQUE. He holds a Master in Economic Policy and Analysis from Ecole Nationale des Régies Financières (ENAREF).
