Alex is currently completing an MA in bioethics at New York University. She has worked as a research assistant at UC San Diego and the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, as a paralegal intern with the nonprofit Legal Services NYC, and as a teaching assistant in medical ethics at NYU. Her graduate research seeks to answer whether artificial intelligence systems that cause harm can be blameworthy for what they do.
