Agnese Carrera coordinates IPA Philippines' evaluation of the impact of a national community-driven development program on governance, social capital, and socio-economic welfare. Prior to joining IPA in 2015, Agnese worked on several impact evaluations in Bangladesh and India in areas ranging from adolescent development to gender equality, women's empowerment, indigenous communities' rights protection and food safety. She holds an MA in Economics and International Development from the University of Bologna and a BA in International Relations and Chinese Language from the Universita Cattolica del Sacro Cuore di Milano.
