IPA-Philippines is looking to hire a Research Associate for one year to help lead quantitative data collection and analysis of the baseline survey of the Graduation pilot. The Research Associate will work closely with Principal Investigators and the IPA-Philippines Research Manager and Country Director.
- Leading the baseline survey of the project
- Developing, field testing, and finalizing the baseline questionnaires; managing translation into local dialects
- Programming the questionnaires in SurveyCTO
- Hiring, training, and managing survey enumerators in collaboration with the Field Manager
- Overseeing daily data collection activities and ensuring adherence to data quality protocols, including data quality audits and frequency checks
- Regularly processing, cleaning, and analyzing data collected through computer-assisted interviews using Stata
- Liaising with the partner organization and other local counterparts as necessary
- Writing the baseline reports and presenting findings to stakeholders
- Regularly communicating updates and troubleshooting challenges with the Research Manager and PIs
- Monitoring progress of treatment and control in collaboration with government regional offices and ensuring randomization results are followed
- Demonstrated proficiency in Stata and/or experience with data management and data cleaning
- Experience with quantitative research, particularly with randomized controlled trials.
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in economics, business management, social sciences, public policy, political science or related fields
- Experience running a large-scale survey and managing the survey implementation is preferred, but not required
- Experience with Computer-Assisted Interviewing is preferred, but not required
- Demonstrated ability to manage high-level relationships with partner organizations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent management and organizational skills along with strong quantitative skills;
- Flexible, self-motivating, able to manage multiple tasks efficiently, and a team player
- Fluency and excellent communication skills in English.
