On July 6, IPA PI Dean Yang gave a presentation "Taken by Storm: Hurricanes, Migrant Networks, and U.S. Immigration" at the University of the Philippines School of Economics' Philippine Center for Economic Development. He discussed his research on how readily potential migrants respond to changes in the returns of migration to academics and students at the university.
