On July 7th, Dean Karlan was the guest speaker at the Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) Foundation, Inc’s learning session, “Walang Maiiwan sa Laylayan” (Leaving No One Behind in the Margins). This was attended by high-level staff from BPI and other banks in the Philippines. Dean shared evidence from impact evaluations on financial inclusion from around the world and also expounded on innovative solutions that can be explored by the Philippine banking sector.
