On May 27 – 28, 2014, the Microfinance Centre hosted its 17th annual conference titled “The New World of Financial Inclusion: What Role for Microfinance?” The conference addressed the role microfinance plays in the broader movement towards improving access to finance and financial inclusion. Beniamino Savonitto, Associate Director for the Financial Inclusion Program, participated in a workshop on improving financial capability.
