IPA Peru presented preliminary results to the Peruvian Government (specifically the Superintendent of Banks, Insurance Companies and Pension Funds (SBS)) on a new Financial Coaching initiative launched and managed by IPA Peru.
On April 19, 2016, the Ministry of Education of Peru (Minedu) launched MineduLAB at Universidad del Pacífico in Lima, Peru.
On December 15 and 16, IPA Peru and J-PAL LAC co-organized a capacity-building workshop in the framework of MINEDULab project, in Lima, Peru. MINEDULab is an innovation lab in education policy, established in partnership with the Peruvian Ministry Education (MINEDU) and financed by the project Strengthening Education Management (FORGE).
On December 3 and 4 2015, IPA Peru, J-PAL LAC, the Ministry of Women and Vulnerable Populations (MIMP) and the Peruvian Network of Monitoring and Evaluation (REDPERUME) co-organized the IV Meeting of the Peruvian Network of Monitoring and Evaluation “Monitoring and evaluation for the achievement of results in public policy” in Lima, Peru.

On March 16, took place in Lima, Peru, the “High Level Conference and Latin American Workshop on Impact Evaluation: theory and practice applied to water, sanitation, hygiene, management of hydro resources and irrigation”. The event was co-organized by the World Bank, the Inter-American Development Bank, research center GRADE and Pacífico University.
Francisco Dumler, Viceminister of Infrastructure and Sanitation of the Ministry of Housing and Jorge Mesinas, Secretary of Strategic Planning of the Ministry of Education of Peru opened the event.
In early October, Annie Duflo (Executive Director, IPA) presented lessons learned while scaling up TCAI in Ghana to Peru’s Ministry of Education. Annie’s presentation was part of a series of seminars put on jointly by IPA Peru, J-PAL LAC, and the Ministry's Research and Documentation Unit. While in Peru, Annie also held meetings with other policymakers, including the Vice-Minister of Health and Cuna Más, a child day-care and family coaching program, and local researchers.
IPA Peru, J-PAL, and LAC launched a three-week course and workshop on Experimental Impact Evaluation for policymakers of the Viceministry of Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) and Industry within Peru’s Ministry of Production. Participants worked with researchers and J-PAL and IPA staff to develop evaluation designs and presented them to the Viceministry. Prior workshops in this series include an introductory course on impact evaluation and a design workshop.
IPA Peru presented results from the Remedial Science Education evaluation as part of a series of monthly evidence workshops with Peru's Ministry of Education. The Remedial Science Education program provides tutors at schools in metropolitan Lima with training on how to reinforce the science curricula using hands-on scientific methods.
The Department of Research and Documentation (DIDE) in Peru’s Ministry of Education, IPA Peru, and J-PAL LAC launched a collaboration to promote the use and production of evidence within the Ministry. As part of this cooperation, the three organizations are launching a series of evidence workshops to share results on evaluations of education programs in the region. The first of these workshops presented the results of an early numeracy program in Paraguay. IPA Peru and J-PAL LAC will also offer an introductory training on impact evaluation for DIDE staff.
