From July 25-29, Dylan Ramshaw (Country Director) and Juan Hernández-Agramonte (Deputy Country Director) participated in a week-long workshop organized by the Conservation Strategy Fund (CSF) in Santa Cruz, Bolivia. J-PAL/IPA organized the lectures and group sessions on the last day, which were focused on behavioral economics adapted to environmental conservation strategies.

IPA Peru and J-PAL LAC collaborated with the Institute for Advanced Development Studies (INESAD), a local research center, to hold a seminar in La Paz on the importance of generating and using evidence in public policy. Local policymakers as well as members of academia, civil society, and international organizations attended the event. Dylan Ramshaw (Deputy Country Director, IPA Peru) introduced IPA and J-PAL’s mission and work.

IPA and J-PAL in collaboration with Instituto de Estudios Avanzados en Desarrollo (INESAD), held a Seminar on November 12 in La Paz, at 18:45pm Salón Real 2 del Hotel Camino Real (C. Capitán Ravelo Nro. 2123) under the title: “Improving social programs with evidence in Bolivia”.
