Vandana Sharma earned an Honors Bachelor of Science Degree (Hons BSc) in Biology and Psychology from McMaster University, and a Doctor of Medicine degree (MD) from the University of Western Ontario. As a Hopkins Sommer Scholar, she earned a Masters of Public Health (MPH) focused on International Health and Epidemiology from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Vandana's public health and medical work in Asia, West Africa and Latin America has centered primarily on HIV/AIDS, and maternal and child health.
