Marco is a Research Associate at IPA Cote d'Ivoire, where he works on the Transforming Education in Cocoa Communities Program – a project aiming to improve children’s education outcomes and farming incomes in the cocoa sector. Prior to joining IPA, he had taken up a number of research and consulting roles across the social policy, rural development and international trade domains - the latest at the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). Marco holds a MSc in Development Studies awarded by the London School of Economics and Political Science, having previously been trained as an economist at Bocconi University, Milan.
