Loïc Watine IPA’s work in Ghana, Burkina Faso, Cote d’Ivoire and Mali, in addition to other special projects at IPA. He joined IPA in 2010 and has assumed multiple roles within the organization. He started as Country Director in Mali, a position he held until 2012. In 2013, as an internal principal investigator, Loïc he led a multi-country study on pre-primary education in poor urban areas throughout Africa. In 2014, he was the director in charge of the training of IPA country directors globally. He then took the role of Country Director for IPA Ghana, one of IPA’s largest country office, where he led the strengthening of IPA’s research portfolio, systems, and policy influence in the country. He was promoted to Regional Director in early 2017. Loïc has experience working in Guatemala, India and Sierra Leone, and holds a Diplôme d'Ingénieur from the École Polytechnique, and an MPA in International Development from Harvard University.
