Prathap Kasina leads IPA's Asia and Latin America portfolio that includes Bangladesh, Myanmar, the Philippines, Peru, and Colombia. Prior to joining IPA, Prathap was the Associate Director of Research at J-PAL South Asia where he oversaw the execution of numerous randomized control trials. Prathap comes from Kakinada, a coastal town in Andhra Pradesh, India. He has a Masters in Public Policy from the University of Michigan and a Bachelors in Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee.
