On May 10, IPA's Regional Director for West Africa Claudia Casarotto presented at an event hosted by the German Institute for Development Evaluation (DEval) and the Campbell Collaboration. The conference, "Using evidence for more effective development policy and practice," brought together policymakers, practitioners, and researchers to discuss ways to foster evidence-based policymaking and programming in the German development cooperation. Claudia spoke on a panel about creating an enabling environment for evidence-based policymaking and discussed IPA's approach to co-creating policy-relevant evidence together with decision-makers.

More about the conference is available here. To learn more about our approach to evidence co-creation, you can read our recent blog posts here and here.
